The M-423 by Newport is a High Performance Linear Translation Stage that boasts symmetrical design features, allowing for seamless configuration into either left-handed or right-handed operation setups. This stage employs precision ball bearing construction, complemented by M6 mounting holes, and exhibits an impressive 156 N centered load capacity. The M-423 has smooth motion, stability, and repeatability, all of which are achieved through the utilization of actuators equipped with hardened carbide inserts. These actuators are thoughtfully preloaded with springs to eliminate any trace of backlash, ensuring precision in every operation. This stage allows for reconfiguration to access the micrometer on the opposite side of the stage, a crucial aspect for vertical travel and enhanced adjustment accessibility.

The M-423 can be seamlessly integrated into a multi-axis stage stack. When combined with a compatible right angle bracket, three of these stages can be configured into an XYZ assembly. Furthermore, the stage's actuator mounting block can be conveniently relocated to accommodate 13 mm drives, providing adaptability to various applications.
